Our conference location is in the middle of Warnemünde, just one (!) minute to the beach!

Seestraße 18
18119 Rostock, GERMANY
HOW TO TRAVEL TO WARNEMUENDE
Warnemünde is in the north of Germany on the baltic sea, a suburb of Rostock.
Rostock has an airport, Rostock-Laage (RLG), but only very few planes fly there. The easiest is to fly to Hamburg (HAM) or Berlin Schönefeld (SXF) and travel by train to Rostock. From Hamburg, it is a bit cheaper and easier (about 25 €; buy the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern-Ticket ).
If there are enough meeting participants interested in a shuttle bus (about 35 ), then we will organize one by bus from Berlin and/or Hamburg. If interested, please send an e-mail to Wolfgang Schuett at wolfgang.schuett@fh-krems.ac.at.
By carFrom Hamburg take the motorway A1 to Lübeck and from there take the A20 to Rostock. It's a 1 1/2 hour trip. If starting in Berlin you have to drive along the A24 in the direction of Hamburg until the A19 is crossing the motorway. Following the A19 you reach Rostock. It's a trip of 2 1/2 hours.
As you see, we really are directly at the beach, and nothing in this town is more than 5-10 minutes by foot away from our conference location (the "K" on the map).
