Postdoctoral Position Wanted

September 23, 2009

Capucine Burrowes is looking for a postdoctoral position. Please contact her if you have anything available that fits her background. Her e-mail is capucine.burrowes@u-psud.fr. Capucine writes:

I am currently a last-year PhD student. I am working in nanomagnetism at IEF (Institut d’Electronique Fondamentale) based in the Université Paris Sud, in Orsay, France. I worked more precisely on nanomagnetism applied to spintronic. I was a lot involved in clean room processes as the fabrication of nano-wire, nanostructuration and characterization with e-beam lithography for future magnetic memory devices (M-RAM). My results on magnetization dynamics measurements with spin valves, using the magnetic nano-devices I built, have been accepted to be published in Nature Physics review (“Nonadiabatic spin-torques in narrow magnetic domain walls”).

I‘m looking for a post doctoral position that could start at the beginning of 2010. I’m eager to discover new research fields and would like to benefit from the postdoctoral opportunity to integrate a team working on nanobiotechnologies. I feel really involved and motivated in such a new research application gathering multiple research fields for new perspectives. The richness of nanobioscience is exactly what I’m looking for to fulfil my interests in research activity.
